Shonen Chikara is an online/orderable manga about Boy Power. Now, we know this may not sound too promising, but hear us out...

With all of the magical girl (mahou shoujo) anime/manga out there, there are no magical boy (mahou shonen) anime/manga to compare! We noticed a lack of development in this area and decided to exploit it with our clever, witty senses of humor. Or maybe we'd just rip on all of the shows that are so stereotypically overdone... who knows? With that thought in mind...

Along came the (pretty much) first MAGICAL BOY manga. Men doing pretty transformation scenes in skirts, using magical weapons and commanding powers and things of the sort. Men wandering around with the typical "cute" creature. Humor, violence, action, some adult themes, a little bit of drama, occult, horror, and sci-fi/fantasy all rolled into one...

Well, maybe you haven't read that far yet. But trust us, we're going to attempt to make this something everyone can enjoy. We have the crude humor down pretty well now. Now all you have to do is just sit back and wait for our lovely plot to come unveiled... (or maybe you could pick your nose instead. Either one would be as interesting... ^_-) And currently, the plotline has developed thus far:

Yorhana Shinja is a typical guy. He's lazy, doesn't like his stupid, lame-ass, low-paying job, and he likes women. He seems to be very vain, liking to take advantage of people to benefit himself.

Dykeisii Kimoko is not your typical guy. He dresses like a girl and puts on concerts. His twin sister, Shaana, likes to help out with the diagnostics of the job. Kei seems to be very shy; Shaana to be boisterous, and they own a boarding house.

Setsuna Kiitai is a crabby, anti-social scientist who has a large task to perform. He has a lot of pressure to deal with in his work, including dumb secretaries, slow-witted teammates; and besides all of that, he's the youngest (and shortest) member of the lab team. He seems to be very unfeeling and a perhaps a little paranoid.

Dorian is a weird guy who seems to have a little bit of trouble staying conscious. He always speaks his mind, and often gets punished for it. He wanders around wearing sunglasses and talking about cheese. Something about him bothers most people, and they tend to avoid the dude. Dorian doesn't seem to care though: he just entertains himself.

Master Encht is an old magical man who has many mind powers. He can control basically anybody and make them do whatever he wants. So when he summons these guys to fight against Girl Power (the "impending doom" of the world), they have no choice but to participate, whether they want to or not.

Put all of these guys together in a house, and you have four random guys just sitting around. Put them together wearing skirts, and you have total and utter Hell. They defeated their first enemies... very, very easily. The girls took basically one hit and went down. Of course, now they get to move in together. Officially. Next issue you'll get to see some pretty quirky things as they try to get along and settle down in their new abode. Do you think it will work? OF COURSE NOT!! ^_-
